  • We learned how to plant and care for young fruit trees as we planted the first two right next to the playground
  • It was attended by coordinators, tree adopters, site providers and sponsors.
  • T-shirts were available for sale
  • Tree adopters picked up their trees.

10:30am Introduction to Fruit-Tree Planting and Care Jim Henderson of Henderson’s Landscaping

11:30am Fruit Trees in the Permaculture Landscape; Polycultures for Making  Fruit Tree Thrive Permaculture designer/builder Aaron Guman

12:15pm Lunch

12:45pm Stories About the Regional History of Fruit Trees and Their Impact on Our Community Elmer Brown of E. C. Brown’s Nursery.
2:00pm Crews depart to plant trees throughout the Upper Valley.
